Here Comes Peter Cottontail… along with a new month, theme, and environment!

We are just two Sundays away from Easter. As you probably know – in church world – Easter is a big day and usually requires some extra attention. What makes this year even more fun (or even more crazy) is that Easter takes place on the first week of April. That means as we all prep for Easter, we are also prepping for a new month, a new theme, and new set designs!

Personally, I love this because while it will be a busy couple of weeks leading up to April 5th, we have a great opportunity to showcase a new environment and all that we are about, on a day when more first time guests could be walking through our doors than on any other Sunday of the year.

EGGSTRAVAGANZA

In addition to prepping for April’s environment, we are having a family event on Saturday the 28th that will include egg hunts for preschoolers, as well as elementary aged kids. We’ll also have crafts, a petting zoo, and some other fun activities for families. I’ll share all about this event in a separate post, but I’d love to know what special things your church is doing for Easter – particularly for families.
